💙 [New Personal Chapter] This past year I’ve spent a lot of reflection on my growth - both physically, mentally, and emotionally. Looking back to my hometown in Texas, I realize now how much it was a journey of trying to feel at home in my own skin. Growing up gay, bi, whatever it is - it wasn’t about who I loved, who I had a crush on, or who I fell for… it was about growing up and learning to be myself. I feel now more than ever, my story needed to be shared, but not just mine - ours. A place to tell the untold shared experiences of what it’s like being gay, the struggles, heartbreaks, everything. Because not too long ago, we didn’t have social media algorithms to be able to clock us faster than our closest friends - and as a social strategist, see the need of a platform that doesn’t rely on an algorithm to share stories.
