Toyota’s Celebrating 60 years in Canada with a Nationwide Road Trip! Leg
#5 of the drive began in Winnipeg, MB and ended in Calgary, AB.
The group was behind the wheel of the Toyota Land Cruiser, Crown Signia, Camry, Tacoma Hybrid, Highlander Hybrid, Sienna, and TMMC’s 11-millionth vehicle, a 2024 RAV4 Hybrid Woodland.
Along the way, the group toured Headingley Grand Trunk Trail in Winnipeg, MB and also visited Wanuskewin Heritage Park, where they learned about the evolving cultures of the Northern Plains Indigenous peoples. A fun stop at Ens Toyota in Saskatoon included some heritage vehicles and modified mining Land Cruisers. Visits to Dark Matter Materials in Edmonton Research Park and the Edmonton International Airport showcased how organizations are researching, developing and deploying different technologies to reduce emissions. The journey ended with some picture-perfect stops at Alberta’s Rowley ghost town, Royal Tyrell Museum, and Drumheller badlands.
