UPDATE: Four current UC Berkeley students and two recent graduates have had their visas revoked.
International students’ visas have been terminated at several UC campuses, according to a statement released by the University of California Office of the President, or UCOP, on Friday night.
The Trump administration’s increased scrutiny on student protesters follows a litany of executive orders and federal investigations targeting noncitizens.
“This is a fluid situation, and we continue to monitor and assess its implications for the UC community and the people affected,” read a UCOP press release. “We are committed to doing what we can to support all members of our community as they exercise their rights under the law.”
