And with that simple and concise phrase, You Me At Six launch into ‘Room To Breathe’, the opening statement of their final ever performance. Rarely does a band get to end their journey entirely on their own terms, a reality not lost on the five men on stage as they drink in every moment of this part wake, part celebration. The two hours that follow run the full breadth of their two decade discography as multiple generations of fans smile, weep and sing through ‘Stay With Me’, while the double punch of ‘Save It For The Bedroom’ and ‘Take Off Your Colours’ winds back the years.
