Today is World Health Day 2025, and this year’s theme is ‘Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures’. Addressing health inequalities remains a key priority for us. That’s why, in May, we’re launching a new Health Inequalities Exhibition, highlighting the crucial role of general practice in tackling disparities and improving health outcomes for all. Professor Dominic Patterson, GP and Chair of the RCGP Health Inequalities Group, says: “On World Health Day I’m so proud of the RCGP’s current focus on addressing health inequalities and supporting the health and wellbeing of our most disadvantaged patients, offering them a hopeful future.” “To learn more about health inequalities and the RCGP’s contribution to health equity, why not visit the exhibition at 30ES, which opens on the 7th of May.” 📢 Visit our Health Inequalities Hub and join the member forum to exchange ideas, share resources and connect with peers.
