The chants were loud in downtown Tuscaloosa Saturday as people protesting the current administration gathered outside the federal building and courthouse. Protesters waved flags and signs criticizing the administrations actions. Their message was clear: "hands off." "Hands off our rights, so things that have been promised to us or are inherent to us as citizens, things like our first amendment speech, things like our social security benefits, even our students," said Heather love, Community Liaison for the Tuscaloosa-Northport Indivisible Chapter. This protest was just one of many that were held across the country as a part of the hands-off movement with hundreds held.
