The crowd of thousands — the majority of whom bore signs protesting the Trump administration and the actions of Elon Musk — were gathered in downtown Portland to protest a slew of recent actions by the presidential administration. Downtown Portland’s “Hands Off!” protest was one of many throughout the state and across the nation as demonstrators voiced their opposition to the Trump administration firing thousands of federal employees, implementing sweeping tariffs and moving to roll back environmental regulations, among other issues. “Like a lot of people, I think we’ve been very ready to get out and march and have our voices heard,” said Dicky Dahl as he hung out on the waterfront with Mellissa Laurie and their 5-year-old daughter. “It’s hard to just sit at home and absorb all the bad news without taking any kind of action.” Click the link in our bio to read more Photos by Alliisonder/The Oregonian #Portland #HandsOff #50501 #Protest
