I met annette_summersett last year at Wup It Up 2023 (in Chicago). As we treaded East on Lawrence in search of good coffee before the sessions on Day 2 (only half calf because who wants to be in a co-write with some severely over caffeinated humans?!), we bonded over production talk, songwriter life, moving around in search of a home base and the challenges that come with being a woman in a super male dominated field.
