No. 7 Syracuse women’s lacrosse picked up its fourth consecutive win Saturday afternoon, downing No. 11 Virginia 13-12. The Orange led 12-8 in the fourth quarter, but UVA embarked on a 4-0 run to tie the game 12-12. However, a late goal from Caroline Trinkaus helped SU hold on. Syracuse attack Emma Ward notched a game-high four points, helping her eclipse the 300 career point mark. She is just the seventh player in SU history to reach the milestone.
