May is nationally recognized as Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, but at SU celebrations have already begun.⁠ ⁠ The kickoff took place in the Schine Student Center on Tuesday, featuring tables from a variety of campus organizations related to AAPI students. The month’s theme is “Mosaic of Memories.”⁠ ⁠ “Much like our identities made up of fragmented yet meaningful experiences, stories of immigration, adaptation and resilience, each of us carries pieces of our history, ” Pallas Hoffman, a designer for the event, said.⁠ ⁠ Click the link in our bio to read more about AAPI heritage month.
