Steelers NFL draft targets: Could Colston Loveland be a bargain like Heath Miller? Post-Gazette Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo explains why TE Colston Loveland could be an ideal NFL draft target for the team like Heath Miller was 20 years ago. Loveland (and Tyler Warren) have bigger upsides than many of the receivers projected to go in the first round of this year’s draft. The Steelers would have to trust Arthur Smith to make the offense work with two pass-catching tight ends (with the incumbent Pat Freiermuth), but having mismatch options in the passing game could cause major headaches for opposing defensive coordinators. Loveland had shoulder surgery in late January, and he is expected to be cleared for full contact this summer. Loveland skipped Michigan’s bowl game against Alabama to prepare for the draft.
