As of July 1, Minnesota is now the first state to allow taprooms to serve THC beverages on draft. This change broadens options for both consumers and smaller brewers. "The ultimate goal of us working on this language is taking away the stigma of consuming THC, especially as a beverage," said Bob Galligan, government relations director of the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild. Smaller brewers also benefit because it opens another way of entering a market that can be blocked off due to cost, because aluminum cans are still expensive post-pandemic.
