Cheers to you having a happy National Beer Day! 🍻 April 7th commemorates the repeal of the ban on beer sales in the United States, which occurred on that day in 1933 after the passage of the Cullen-Harrison Act. This is the end of the Prohibition Era - a 13-year stretch where it the manufacture, sale and transportation of alcohol was banned. The National Beer Day celebration came about in 2009 in Virginia when two craft beer enthusiasts sparked the idea. The Growlers team name came after the city of Kalamazoo's rich brewing tradition with the "Growlers" name referencing the glass/ceramic jugs used to transport draft beer.
