“Our Ignatian service truly transforms hearts. … I saw God in the faces of the people that we worked alongside, through their compassion, love, faith and moral obligations to help any and every person.” That was part of the student homily today delivered by Evan Mitskovski ’26 as part of our Service For and With Others Mass in Scaccia Auditorium, celebrated by President Fr. David Ciancimino, S.J. Mitskovski’s homily centered on the service he was a part of an immersion trip to Puerto Rico earlier this year. The trip is part of the CHS Companions Program, in which juniors respond to the Ignatian call to service by traveling abroad to serve communities in need during school breaks. A group will be traveling to Mexico next week.
