A very memorable GAMBIT 50 celebration is still with us at 1180 Delaware Ave. in the form of an outstanding window mural by the CHS Art Club. CHS students conceived and created this mural for GAMBIT 50, Canisius’ signature fundraiser which was attended by hundreds two weekends ago. The mural greeted guests as they moved from the Scaccia Auditorium to the Bernard J. Kennedy ’49 Field House during the auction fundraiser, which raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to help us continue our mission of ensuring that every student has the transformational experience of a Jesuit education at CHS. The contributors from the CHS Art Club, which is moderated by art teacher Sarah Lewalski, were: Marco D’Angelo ’27, Brayden Harbold ’25, Jimmy Del Regno ’25, Ethan Johnson ’25, Oscar Downs Ladiges ‘27, Liam Laughlin ‘27 and Simon Reda ‘27.
