Since its inception, laos_inthehouse has promoted storytelling in the Lao American refugee community through the mediums of art. This includes programming, events and partnership projects. Staying true to their roots, Laos in House will be celebrating its 10th year with a special event that will fuse a culinary experience with entertainment, and presentations. On Saturday May 3rd from 6-9 pm, Laos in the House will host “10 Years Still Here,” at the asianartsphilly building (1219 Vine St.). This landmark event will be more than a gathering—it will serve as a homecoming, a tribute, and an immersive experience honoring Lao heritage, art, and the vibrant flavors of Laos.
