New lip balm flavor just dropped for this year's @mnstatefair! The Star Tribune's lip balm flavor for 2023 is Crop Art, and is wild rice-scented. The pairing incorporates something native to Minnesota (wild rice) and ties it into a favorite fair activity (crop art). Getting yours is easy. We'll be giving away the lip balm throughout the day (one per person, while supplies last) starting Aug. 24, the fair's opening day. Find us on Carnes Avenue, at the end of the grandstand ramp. It's never too early to start thinking about next year — what should the flavor be for 2024? Every year we produce a lip balm that aims to capture the feel of the State Fair.
