Day 7 of 30 Days of Romanticizing My Life 🌸
For the past few years, I passed by the cherry blossom trees - always admiring them from the distance.
Usually from the car, on the way to something else.
But yesterday, I stopped.
I had a break between meetings and decided to walk up to them, to actually see them.
They only bloom for two weeks a year—two weeks to remind us that some beauty is fleeting, and that’s what makes it sacred.
For once, I didn’t admire them from a distance.
I paused long enough to actually take it in.
Because not everything is meant to last.
And maybe that’s the point.
It’s a reminder not to take things, life, for granted. And to appreciate the present moment.
✨ I’m spending the next 30 days slowing down, exploring beautiful places, and finding joy in the little things. Follow along for daily inspiration & save these solo moments for your own self-love season 💛
