If you’re like me, staying at a desert camp in #Morocco is a dream trip. I finally did it this week, and learned a lot along the way. First, there are multiple desert locations to choose from. We stayed in #Agafay which is only 1hr by car from Marrakech (the Sahara is more like 9hrs!) Regardless which location you choose, there are luxury tents that have toilets, aircon, wifi, electricity, etc. It’s so magical being out in the remote desert: stargazing, walks…and dinner is served under the stars with music 🎶 I think the biggest consideration is to ask yourself if you care more about convenience (in which case, I’d suggest Agafay) or a desert experience that’s purely sand dunes- less rocky (then I’d suggest venturing to the Sahara).
