This week, our Maternal Justice Team was honored to participate in Birthing Cultural Rigor’s Obstetric Patient Safety Summit, the only summit where attendees - from advocates to clinicians - are trained to recognize, name, and dismantle obstetric racism as a patient safety crisis. Our team was grateful to deepen our skills, learn hands-on strategies, and connect with others committed to ensuring that Black mothers and birthing people are seen, heard, and protected. Every tool we gain moves us closer to a world where every birth is safe, just, and equitable.     Because birth justice isn’t optional. It’s a movement. It’s a necessity.
