History will be made in Coleman Coliseum this weekend — for the first time ever, Alabama and Auburn will meet as the #1 and #2 teams in College Basketball. This will also be the first time the Iron Bowl of Basketball will feature two Top 10 teams. Safe to say that this will be the most anticipated Iron Bowl of Basketball of all-time. Alabama and Auburn split the series last season, but this year, there is more drama and it’s not because both teams are Top 2. This will be Aden Holloway’s first game against the Tigers since he transferred to Tuscaloosa this past off-season. I expect to him to play with everything he has against his former team. All in all, this is a match-up between the two best teams in College Basketball. Both fanbases should be proud for their team and state. Just years ago, the thought of this being a remote possibility would have been unrealistic. Now, it’s reality.
