Hedwig (I’ll never forgive whoever named him. WRONG SPECIES) is 14+ years old and disabled. He was hit by a car and one of his wing joints healed wrong. He’s not able to fly far, which is why he lives with us. He needs a little help maintaining his beak from time to time, which only takes a few minutes. He doesn’t enjoy being held, but it’s important for his health. #birds #owls #screechowl
