#FFAWeek šā𦺠"I first became involved in nationalffa my sophomore year in high school, my first year of in-person high school. I listened to a small spiel about it in my horticultural science class, where I became aware of the
#servicedog SAE.
Immediately, I knew this was something I wanted to do and started working toward this goal. At first,
#puppy raising seemed to be about learning and exploring my interest of dogs, but once I became involved in the community, it evolved to more than I can imagine.
I truly found a passion through Canine Companions. I consider it to be something I am proudest of. The connection I had with my first dog, Birdie (pictured), gave me a very strong sense of purpose and companionship. The community I found in joining this organization gave me a great network and connections throughout high school and now college. It helped me find my passion, and I hope to continue working with Canine Companions throughout the rest of my adult life." šāš¦ŗ
