My handsome guy Swaggers undergoes surgery tomorrow. About 3 weeks ago he started bumping into things on his right (it appeared that had lost his vision in that eye). Evaluation showed a detached retina, with glaucoma and bleeding creating pressure in that eye. Blood work, x-rays and Ultrasound showed nothing abnormal making him a candidate for surgery. I’m sure he will feel so much better after tomorrow. As simple as the surgery may be, nothing straight forward with a dog with heart complications so asking for prayers and positive vibes for both of us and for the team at capcityvetoncology who get to meet Mr.Handsomepants tomorrow morning. First up is his cardiac evaluation, once he gets the green light from cardiology, surgery will follow. Hopefully he’ll be back home Tuesday 🤎🤎🤎 #SwaggerTheBorderCollie
