#Perugia, Italy, has been a year of language, politics, travel—and chocolate! 🇮🇹🍫
As an International Relations and Diplomacy, Political Science, and Italian major in URI’s International Studies and Diplomacy program, studying abroad her junior year was a requirement—but also an opportunity she fully embraced. Spending a full year at the University for Foreigners of Perugia, she’s immersing herself in Italian culture while exploring Europe.
Perugia is known as the chocolate capital of Italy, and one of Jennifer’s favorite experiences so far has been attending the Eurochocolate Festival, a two-week celebration of the city’s renowned chocolate. But beyond the sweets, the real highlight has been traveling across Europe, visiting cities like Rome, Milan, Madrid, and Barcelona—with more adventures to come.
