🤷‍♂️ Why is this better than a swish? Here’s why 👇 This is an excerpt from my Skool community Mitch’s Hooper’s Hub about why we DON’T aim for swishes: “Focus on B.R.A.D. In all your shooting workouts, your goal should be simple: focus on the ball hitting the back rim and going down through the hoop (B.R.A.D.—Back Rim And Down). Research, including data on over 1.1 million shots, has shown that a perfect shot isn’t a swish. In fact, hitting the back rim and then going down (B.R.A.D.) provides a larger, more reliable “make zone” than swishing. The back rim target gives shooters the largest possible entry angle, maximizing the likelihood of a make by giving the ball more room to enter the hoop. Here’s why focusing on BRAD is better: Larger Margin of Error: By aiming for the back rim, shooters don’t need perfect precision to make the shot. This larger target size increases the likelihood of a make. Improves Arc and Depth: Aiming for the back rim naturally encourages a higher arc,...
