Portugal, a small but fishy country you are. 🐟🦐🦑🦪 Thank you for ending my shrimp head dry spell at last. Having not traveled outside of the US since 2018, Portugal felt like the perfect appetizer (for what I hope to be the beginning of my international travels again). Lured by the salty sea, colorful tiles and cornucopia of mollusks, I recruited my family to join. I think it was an easy yes. And lucky for me, my Parisian soul sis agreed to fly in for a weekend. ♥️ We kept it simple, Lisbon + Porto with a day in the Duoro wine valley and a stop at Nazaré on the coast. In the past, I would have said that we need to see it all, but I’m learning that more is not always better. Sometimes the joy is in the simplicity of sitting in a square and really taking it in.
