Two nights ago, all aspects of our wonderful world came together for the ultimate photo. While on my way home from storm chasing, I started seeing rumors around that aurora were out. Not expecting much, I pulled over North of Sturgis, South Dakota and when I setup my cameras I sat in disbelief as the aurora were dancing through the setting sun and Milky Way. But, it wasn't alone. Thunderstorms on the horizon pulling away lit up the skies with lightning and at the exact same time, by pure 1 and a million chance a giant meteor rocketed through the sky and joined the party. This is not AI, this is not fake, this is the world at its very best and I got to capture it.
