If I had to choose my best photo and #1 chase of all time, I'd probably have to choose this image and intercept from just outside of Carpenter, Wyoming on June 12th, 2017. This is also why I love June chasing over May so much. While tornadoes aren't as frequent, the high plains produces so many photogenic, memorable tornadoes. This strong tornado we followed from closely behind as it churned and ate dirt and basically paralleled this perfect road we were on before finally roping out after 20 minutes.
