Earlier this week, @AAAClubAlliance and our Center for Violence Prevention held an event at Pennell Elementary School in Aston, PA to raise awareness during #NationalBullyingPreventionMonth. CVP’s Dr. Christine Waanders, a clinical psychologist, collaborated with AAA to create “Understanding Bullying,” an educational lesson for the AAA School Safety Patrol classroom resources. The lesson is designed to guide AAA School Safety Patrollers, typically elementary school 4th and 5th grade students, to look out for bullying behavior when they are on patrol and to be positive bystanders.
