Night 3 at the Arizona Monster 300
Where the hallucinations hit harder and the desert starts whispering back.
Out of 284 starters, 52 runners have dropped and an astounding 232 continue forward. Those still out there are deep in it. Most are either climbing or descending the monstrous 9,000 ft Mt. Lemmon, a 6,000 ft grind in either direction that tests every fiber of will.
Meanwhile, the front of the pack has made it through Tucson and is pushing into the final 100 miles on the Arizona trail. Exhaustion is written on every face, but so is something else—something deeper. A raw appreciation for the desert, for their own strength, for the strange beauty that only shows up when your mind starts to slip and the stars come out.
This is where it gets real.
Registration is NOW OPEN for the next Arizona Monster 300!
