From the trees to the light leaks to the props, I love everything about how this one turned out. Sometimes the best lighting department is Mother Nature. The most challenging part of this was the shadow work and matching for the light. A key takeaway is in filming these is to try and stay on one plane of direction whether that’s towards the camera or parallel. Too much panning with the subject will cause the 2D, flattened image cut outs to appear as just that… FLAT, which is the clear giveaway. Had so much fun shooting this with reesewitherspoon.
