When this client initially reached out, they told me they wanted some foil suns to be added to the final design, but they also expressed that they wanted the finished look to be sophisticated and elegant. As the professional I knew these two things didn’t really work together. Don’t get me wrong, there’s a time and a place for fun foil balloons, but if the desired look is “elevated, sophisticated, and elegant” foil balloons just don’t typically offer that. So I asked the client if I could give them my professional opinion to go in another direction. They said yes, because they were freaking awesome clients, and they allowed me to offer something a bit more upscale but still fun and on-theme.
