The best advice I’ve ever been given is one I live by in my business daily:
Growth only happens outside of your comfort zone.
So what does getting outside your comfort zone look like as a small business owner?
✨confidently sharing your pricing without apology
✨saying yes to a project you’ve never done before and figuring it out as you go
✨saying no to a project that doesn’t serve you, even when it comes with big $$$
✨showing your face on social media (daily!)
✨bringing something completely new to the industry even though it might be a flop
All of the things I’ve mentioned above could very well end in failure. And you know when I’ve learned and grown the most? During the times I’ve failed. And the more painful the failure was, the more significant the lesson that was learned.
Listen, I’m never going to tell you “don’t be afraid of failure” because that is impossible. Failure is damn terrifying! But what I’ll leave you with is this:
Be terrified. And do it anyway.
