From New York to L.A. to Nike’s world headquarters in Oregon, media studies and advertising alum and frequent flyer Topacio Beerhalter ‘18 has taken her creativity to incredible places ✈️ Topacio’s path began with an internship at Laundry Service in New York, followed by a junior copywriter role at Decoded Advertising in L.A. She joined Nike in Oregon in 2021 as a temporary employee before becoming a full-time copywriter. Today, she’s the creative lead for the Nike Sportswear social channels. She’s had quite a journey, but it all started at the SOJC, where she acquired the tools to be adaptable and succeed in any role. “The SOJC does a great job of showing how every role impacts a campaign. That knowledge and the ability to adapt —has been imperative.
