Today, in partnership with Indiana Humanities, UIndy proudly hosted the 10th Richard M. Fairbanks Symposium. This year’s theme, Civic Spirit: Religion and Leadership in Indianapolis, explored how religion and civic leadership have intersected in Central Indiana’s past, how leaders are navigating today’s increasingly polarized landscape, and what the future may hold. Our panelists and keynote speakers shared valuable insights into the city’s diverse religious communities and offered inspirational calls to action, encouraging attendees to transform today’s learning into meaningful change in their communities.
