In my 20’s and 30’s I could workout as much as I wanted. In my 40’s, time limited and I need to make my workouts smarter, not longer. What you see here is a typical workout week for me. I do NOT workout 7 days a week. I do NOT overexercise. I do NOT count calories or carbs. I DO workout very intentionally with my time. I DO take days off and recover. I DO eat mindfully in order to fuel my body. With a company to run and family to nurture, taking care of myself is absolutely a priority, but it can’t be my full time hustle. I work smarter now with the time that I have to ensure I’m getting what my body needs physically, and my mind needs mentally, to function at peak performance. Working out 5 days a week should not be a “luxury” or an “indulgence”. I workout to keep myself happy and healthy for the long term. That starts today and lasts every day until forever.
