In 1961, the second edition of Dave Campbell's Texas Football was released. The cover featured "The Three Faces of Greatness in the SWC": Ronnie Bull (bufootball), Lance Alworth (razorbackfb) & James Saxton (texasfootball). Ronnie Bull, who starred on both offense & defense for the Baylor Bears for three seasons, was named Southwest Conference player of the year in 1960. Bull was also named 1962 NFL Rookie of the Year with the Chicago Bears. Lance Alworth, nicknamed "Bambi," is considered one of the greatest wide receivers ever, winning Super Bowl VI with the Dallas Cowboys. Alworth was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1978. James Saxton finished his Texas Longhorns career as an All-American and finalist for the Heisman Trophy in 1961.
