During the stop, officers discovered he had an outstanding warrant for driving without a license and found suspected drugs in his possession. The substances were sent for testing. ___________________________________ Results recently confirmed the substance was a narcotic, leading to Sorrell’s arrest on Tuesday in Shelby Township. He is now facing a felony charge of possessing less than 25 grams of a controlled substance. ___________________________________ As of Wednesday morning, Sorrell remains in the Macomb County Jail.
