Growing up my dream was to help open up access to space for the next generation of scientists, and to use space as a laboratory to benefit Earth. What an unbelievable journey it’s been, and we’re only getting started. I wanted to share an overview about some of the research again, and not to play favorites on the studies, but my heart swells whenever I hear from parents of Type 1 diabetic kiddos about how excited they were to see a CGM worn in space. I feel so lucky to be able to show them that not even the sky is a limit on their dreams. And re: the friendship bracelets, friendship bracelets are meant to be shared!
