My first was to serve as an introduction to the location while primarily attempting to make a star trail image, though I arrived too late to scout and setup the camera. The next morning, however, I was really revolted with the amount of campers peppering the landscape. Despite endless possibilities, I had a difficult time ignoring the distractions, and I left frustrated after having made only two images. A month later and after some reflection, I returned with a more open mind for another attempt. I had not stopped thinking about the prospects and thought that if I accepted the challenge I could break through my aversions to the sullied landscape.
