Blue and green lights shine brightly on Norton Thoracic Institute at Dignity Health St. Joseph's in honor of Donate Life Month. And, our teams are also sporting the colors! At our recent Pinwheel Garden Planting and Donate Life Flag Raising event, Norton and St. Joseph's staff stood together alongside patients, families, and donatelifeaz to raise awareness for organ donation and transplantation. The team at Norton Thoracic Institute has successfully completed nearly 2,000 organ transplants since the first transplantation procedure in 2007. Home to one of the highest volume lung transplant programs in the country with consistently high outcomes, Norton also performs liver and kidney transplants, and orchestrates living donations.
