Flood walls went up around Louisville on Friday in preparation for the unrelenting weather expected over the next week. When I took these photos this morning (4/6/25), the Ohio River was at 29 ft. It’s expected to crest at 36 ft by midweek — well above the 23 ft flood stage (for context, the normal river level is around 12 ft).
