The Kansas governor vetoed a proposed state law that would have restricted nonresident waterfowl hunters to hunting only three days a week on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays.⁠ ⁠ Gov. Laura Kelly said she would not support a bill that could lead to less money coming into the state’s rural areas. The legislation, HB2028, included other minor changes to license fee structures.
