i had a lot of new people find me yesterday on the 1 year anniversary of sharing this clip and I wanted to introduce myself. i’m from nashville TN and moved back home 3 years ago in what i can only describe as a mixture of sadness and hope. i had just played my song WONDER on jimmykimmellive with sarabareilles and at the same time decided it was time for me to move back home. knowing nothing about what that would be like. a lot has happened in that time and i think this moment — on top of the bridge overlooking this strange place i now call home — is a full-circle kind of moment. it’s a lot of mixed feelings, but the thing i feel most is that the little kid bullied by people in middle and high school somehow found love in this strange place. and while those kids grew up to be the same arrogant adults — i grew up to be me. this is a shining moment for me. thanks for listening. here’s to the long revival :) . . . . . . . . . . . . #MyRevival #MORGXN #IndieFolk #SingerSongwriter #Fo...
