Nurse Amanda Rose reports that this baby possum safely arrived at Austin Wildlife Rescue Thursday afternoon after students discovered the little fella all alone on campus yesterday morning. Students found him outside and wrapped him up in their shirt and brought him to school authorities to care for. Attendance specialist Mylissa Schwartz, a former vet tech, took care of the possum, creating a temporary shelter in a bin and bringing him to Rose who transported the possum to the rescue center.
