On Friday, the Philadelphia Department of Public Health announced potential measles exposure at two hospitals in the region but added that the case has no connection to the outbreak in the western states. The city's health department said the possible exposure happened at Penn Hospital in Philadelphia and Holy Redeemer Hospital in Montgomery County. Philadelphia Health Commissioner Dr. Palak Raval-Nelson said the patient was exposed to the highly infectious virus while traveling abroad. "We believe there is no threat to the general public," Health Commissioner Dr. Palak Raval-Nelson said in a statement. More details on the potential exposure in the link in our bio. #measles #philadelphia #measlesoutbreak
