EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: Today we introduce Officer Brian Johnson! Officer Johnson graduated from Michigan State University with his bachelor's degree in criminal justice in 2020 and began a full-time career with the MSU Police Department as a Police Officer in 2022. During his student career, Officer Johnson worked at DPPS as a Student Supervisor serving various needs across the department. Through this experience, Officer Johnson was able to learn valuable knowledge about working at MSU and a career in law enforcement to help guide his future goals. Officer Johnson is a second-generation Police Officer, following in his father’s footsteps. Officer Johnson is currently assigned to the Police Services Bureau on patrol. He has completed training in C.I.T (Crisis Intervention Team) to best serve the MSU community.
