This morning, members of MSU Police and Public Safety participated in the 2024 Shop with a Cop Event in Lansing. This heartwarming event pairs law enforcement officers with local children for a morning of holiday shopping. Each child is given a budget funded by community donations, to buy gifts for their family and check a few items off their own holiday wish list! Shop with a Cop is an unforgettable event that allows us to build connections with children in our community and spread holiday joy to local families. Shout out to Chief Mike Yankowski, Detective Sergeant Aaron Schroeder, Detective Jamie Izen, Detective Martha Brushaber, Detective Hannah Salvati, Officer Karley Janecke and Officer Havyn Boike for volunteering your time this morning to make an impact on each child’s life!
