Seeing her immigrant mom from Mexico hustling to bring mariscosmarias to life, jasmineejuliee saw the definition of anything is possible. What began as a lunch truck in 1985 has now blossomed into two brick and mortar locations, one in the heart of Mid City. And right next door to the Mid City location you can find persona.theshop, Jasmine’s labor of love that she started in 2020. Persona has also become a community hub, hosting midcitymercado that was founded by jasmine and her brother d0n_gio to help other local small vendors have a space and opportunity to showcase their items.
